How do I order?

How do I know which incubator to choose?

Where do I get the eggs to incubate?
You can buy fertile eggs from Wings and Things. If you are looking for larger quantities, please Contact Us.
Can I use eggs that I buy at the shop, like Pick and Pay?
No, eggs that you buy in retail shops are not fertilized and they cannot be used to produce chickens. You need to buy eggs from a source where the hen was fertilized by a male rooster.
Do I need experience to be able to incubate eggs?
No, we provide you with all the necessary knowledge and help to incubate eggs successfully. All our incubators come with complete instruction manuals and we also have a help-line that you can contact at any time.
How do I pay?
You can pay via Internet banking, electronic transfer (EFT), Cash deposit, telephone banking or a wire transfer when paying from outside of South Africa.
When must I pay?
We only accept full payment up front. The order will only be processed once all the funds are available.
What bank are you with?
We bank with ABSA bank (a division of Barclays Bank).
Where can I find your banking details?
We will e-mail you the banking details with the order form.
Do you accept cheque payments?
No, we do not accept cheque payments.
How long will delivery take?
Delivery time depends on your location and your order. We will communicate clearly at the time of ordering what the estimated delivery time will be. Generally goods are delivered within 7 days of payment received, but usually faster.
Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes, we will gladly accept payment via credit card.
Where are you located?
Our head office is in Johannesburg, South Africa. If you are interested in viewing our goods, please make an appointment with Wings and Koi Things. Their contact details are on the Contact Us page.
Can you deliver the incubator to me?
Yes, we can send the incubator directly to you from our factory. Usually this is free of charge.
Can I collect the incubator personally?
Yes, if you want to collect the incubator personally, you may make an appointment with Wings and Koi Things in Pretoria. You can either pay at the shop or alternatively you can order the incubator directly from us and we will have it delivered to you.
Do you sell internationally?
Yes, we sell internationally. We have agents in most African countries and can sends goods anywhere in Africa.
Can you send incubators overseas?
Yes, if you are located outside of South Africa we can make the necessary arrangements to get the incubator delivered to you, wherever you are.
What guarantee do I have that the incubator is sent when I pay the money?
We have 1000’s of clients each year. They all pay for their goods in advance. You have a 100% guarantee that we will send your goods when you pay in full. We send goods on a daily basis all over the world. We will inform you as soon as your incubator has been sent via e-mail with a tracking number that you can use to track your incubator.
What do I do if I’m not happy with the product?
We very rarely get clients who are unhappy with our products. In the extremely unlikely event that you find the incubator inferior to your expectations, we will gladly give you a full refund upon return of the product. We have a No-Questions-Asked-Money-Back-Guarantee on all our incubators.
How do you send the incubators?
We send the incubators with a variety of couriers and services. Generally we will send the goods via SAPO or Time Freight Logistics.
How long can eggs last before they are placed in the incubator?
Eggs can be stored for up to 14 days when kept at 17 degrees Celsius. Eggs must be turned daily.
Does your incubator come with a manual?
Yes, unlike our competitors, we provide you with a complete instruction manual on how to incubate and how to operate the incubators. The manuals are easy to understand and explain exactly what to do in both pictures, English and Afrikaans.
What else do I need with the incubator?
The only thing that you will need is fertile eggs. Unlike our competitors, all out incubators are complete and nothing additional is needed.
Are your incubators complete, or do I need to buy extra things like at other companies?
All our incubators come complete with thermometers, hygrometers (Where applicable), instruction manuals, electronic thermostats etc.
